Why metal structures make no sense
Metal wall"A metal-plated concrete wall that insulates the inside from the outside and separates rooms."

Anyone who has seen a construction site knows that most walls are metal covered in concrete and if the wall is metal plated, the metal plating is likely very thin and ornamental , and even from a gameplay perspective a metal support cover in cement would be more explosive resistant than a metal wall or some rocks stuck together with mud(stone structures). So instead of 25 metal and 7 cement it could be 25 cement and 7 metal. You could even balance it by making cement harder to get by making it spoil, maybe after and hour wet cement would turn into dry cement which couldn't be used for anything, but if you put it in a fire, forge or maybe a new cement mixer structure it would turn wet again, but cement won't be use for buildings and would have to be mixed with stone or sand, and water in a cooking pot to make concrete used for buildings.

So am I the only one who noticed this or am I just wasting my time typing this.

Wasting your time. It's been like this since the beginning why would they change it now based on one person's opinion?

If you want concrete go to primitive plus as its already in game over there along with a mixer .

A little of column A, a little of column B.

This.

We're taming and riding prehistoric critters while having an advanced cybernertic implant stuck in our arm. Oh, and we also somehow have the ability to make stone tubes (stone water pipes) without the use of any machinery. To be honest, metal walls are the least of our realism breaks, and that's okay, because it's a game.

Got to discussing this on the island server I play on. Someone mentioned how they like that the metal walls and stuff already have rust on them when you place them. I told them that was not rust it is poop.

I wont lie. I lol'ed so hard in rl at this thread.. there are so many issues in Ark with dino's moving through solid walls glitching and killing things you have spent literally years using...

And this mook is complaining about how metal should be used with concrete?

More realistic: yes. But so be the need of Dinos to drink, the danger of disease with poop everywhere, carnivores nibbling on your juicy herbivores, even when tamed, big Dinos doing trample damage to thatch huts, even when not angered,...
Realism has to stop somewhere in a game.

sir u need to stop and realise that this is a game and not the real world bud metal is usually stronger than stone in video game logic so u should understand unless your a construction worker that doesn tplay games as much :/

Putting dry cement into a fire will make it wet again? Um... thank you for sharing.
