Angel of Valhalla bug?

I'm up to the wildlands, 3-2, and the chocobo is at Canopus farms needing to be healed. However, I talked to the chocobo once and fed the first batch of Gysahl Greens to it, but now it won't let me talk/feed the chocobo any further.

I've tried restarting the game, resting at inns, travelling to different areas and back but no progress.

Anyone also having this problem or know of a fix around this?

P.S Sarala is also missing from the village, and there's a "goddess disciple" standing just outside of Sarala's farm's wall. This seemed to happen after finishing Sarala's side quest.

You need to talk to nearly all people in the village, even people like the inn keeper you normaly wouldn't talk to or people you talked to before.
If I remember right you need 3 items to get the first part of the quest done, all for free from villagers.

add: I mean only that Village wher the Angel is located so all close by.

I think you also need to talk to the Dr. about you feed the chocobo the first time.

I've talked to every person inside the village, I've gotten the milk from the innkeeper, the gysahl greens from Sarala (I may be wrong it could've been someone else), and the chocobull(?) from the guy on the chocobo outside the village. But after some venturing off in the wildlands and completion of some side quests, I can't feed or talk to the bird anymore.

I've continously talked to the Dr. and he switches between the same 3-4 dialogues, "Ask the villagers to see if they have any leftovers" or something along the lines of that.

P.S: if it helps, I wasn't able to heal the chocobo in one day, and this problem occured the following day. The chocobo was also no longer at the village on the following day, and I had to go back to the ruins to kill the chocobo eater.

Oh ok, I'm still in my first cycle but managed to do it in one day, so I'm not much of a help there.

There was also a chokobo rider from another quest in front of the village (I belive the one who brought the injured Angel to the camp) but I'm not sure if he counted for the first 3 items.

That's the only thing I can think of, there are several quests you need to do, plus grow some of your own greens in order to heal the bird.

But there is no explanation for the bird vanishing other than a huge bug.

I don't think I have. How would I go about doing this?

EDIT: Just found out how to verify, will post results shortly after.

EDIT2: Okay, I verified the game files, tried to see if it had changed anything and the problem still perists. MAN, this is frustrating haha.

Yeah, I've managed to grow about 5 greens using Sarala's farm.

I'm certain I have enough ingredients to heal the chocobo, I'm just unsure whether what I've encountered is a bug or there's some form of storyline I need to complete in order to continue healing him/her. The latter not making much sense as on the map and main quest log states to heal the chocobo.

No it's just you have to get those exact 3 items, the following/sidequest items won't work.
So talk to the doctor, talk to the cokobo an then talk to all villagers again.
The quest even tells you to ask the villagers and they won't handout items before the quest started.

The only one I remember for sure is the Inn keeper, I wouldn't normally talk to them so that was the one I was missing.

Yeah, no progress mate. Nothing I do seems to give me the option to talk to the chocobo. I guess I'll just run through a NG+ and see if it happens again.

There also is a guy who's riding on a chocobo outside the entrance. It's the only person who can be easily missed.
