Anyway, try adding the externalcamera.cfg file to the root, and then launch the game with the command '-mr' and it should enable the mixed reality tools provided by Valve with a few adjustments once you have enabled a third controller.
You can open a settings window with 'ctrl-c' to adjust the externalcamera file a bit easier and there are some additional camera options there.
One issue that will be present in this version is that the foreground quadrant will not be rendered due to deferred rendering.
Let me know if it works for you
Sadly, the foregrond layer is not working as it should as you say. The foreground has no textures and the background of the foregreound layer is mixed colors of grey.. Also, no alpha key available :( Is it something you will fix soon? Without foreground layer (with black background and the white alpha key to the upper right) its hard to make a serious MR video...
Thank you for your fast reply!
Best Regards
Martin
Anyway, I got it to work somehow. Managed to extract some of the foreground from the layers, as pistols, hands and stuff you can touch, but not the surroundings. It does not look perfect, some times it just looks wrong as foreground is not visible, but Im still pleased with that for now :) Video will be up later today.
Big thanks to the developers for helping me out so fast, really appreciate it!

Looking forward to your video!
So far, I have only made one video with a smaller MR-window view on the upper right side, mainly because the MR has some flaws and it would be too obvious showing this on bigger window. Also, for now, I only use a static camera as externalcamera, so the view is following me static as I teleport around.
Im happy I managed at least to extract SOME foreground object with textures (pistol, hands, objects I pickup etc) after fiddeling with layers, chroma keys, color keys etc so at least the stuff Im holding looks kindof OK in foreground :) Other foreground objects as walls, cars etc was not possible to extract of course. And strangely, some background objects became shown as foreground as well, dunno why :) Well, here is a first try anyway (you can start watching at around 1:30 into the video and skip the talking in the beginning).

Thanks for replying fast yesterday devs, and giving me the -mr command :) I really appreciate your super fast support!

I also like mixed reality and it was one of the main reasons I brought the game. Since I like playing with my friends and its just stupid when you dont see the hole action..
I tried launching the game with parameter mr like this, but it seems like the game is crashing at startup:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ArizonaSunshine>ArizonaSunshine.exe -mr
I have my externalcamera.cfg next to the ArizonaSunshine.exe
Other unity games working fine with MR and wont need any command to be enabled.
What am i doing wrong?
