I know sometimes it requires a restart. Just wondering with Direct X/3D is up to date, yes?

Yes. I tried to restart it, and to reinstall too. 14fps. It's strange, because at first run all was normal. And the game is kick-♥♥♥! :)

That is indeed weird, since it's never happened before! I know sometimes when you refresh Steam's assets it fixes a lot of of the issues (Since it happens with me with Phantom Breaker) so give that a shot.

And thanks! As the only coder for the game, that means a lot, trying ot make time to address a lot of the things plaguing the Desura version! :D

Same issue here, except it's like 6~7fps XD

Shame really, as the game seems to be a lot of fun. This is with Windows7 64bit.

Is there any specific moment this starts happening? If you could, any visual to point this out would be helpful.

Only during, and always during, the actual gameplay.

According to the Steam overlay, it settles down more or less to 60fps while static pictures or the opening demo is being shown. Then it jumps to several thousands during any screen transition (fade in/out etc.) When the fight begins... as above.

That. IS crazy. I can definitely look into it.

Thanks! It's great to see such an active and helpful dev. :tbpwink:

Believe me, I try, lol. I can understand angry gamers, I can understand happy gamers, I can even (somewhat) understand threatening(?) gamers, so I try to do something that could try to help everyone I can (As the game was originally designed with a lack of experience on my part. Eek.)

Truth be told, never expected some kind of... turnout as this with this game, figured "welp it's a game" and be forgotten. But well?

Yeah, lol. Brings out all kinds.

I suppose it might have something to do with those thighs, LOL.

Nevertheless, you seem to be one dedicated dude, and that's admirable. I'm looking forward to playing the game in its full glory. :tbpwink:

Yeeeeah.... lol.

Still, I appreciate it. I'm still pretty ripe in all of this so while trying to work on another project, I jump back to this from time to time still trying to fix things to the best of my abilities with this now that I actually have time on my hands.

Odd thing, though. I keep running the game several times, and it seems to always keep an average of 59-61 fps.

Whoa, that actually worked!

Now it's time for some serious brawling action. Thanks a bunch! :tbphappy:

Not a problem! Enjoy! (And if you're using a 360 controller, joy2key may help with some layout trouble; the game was originally designed with a Logitech controller in mind, so a small update to switch to 360 as default may happen!)

I'm using an ancient DS2 through an USB adapter, and the game is working just fine with it, yay! The button remapping feature would be most welcome addition though, as the game doesn't seem to work with external gamepad tweaker such as x360ce.

But that's just a small issue - I'm already liking the game quite a lot. You did a stellar job there! Go 万歳くるみ! :tbphappy:
