I'd say, this game is trash(im NOT trying to make the game dev not make updates) Because there are WAY to many glitchs, to many problems, and there are basicly NO players in any non temperate worlds, every world spawn has no un-protected blocks, it feels VVVEEERRRYYY much like Terraria, so if you're going to play this, give it like a year or two.

There Is Only 2 things that annoy me the rarity of crystals and you having to buy private land the rest is great BUT PLEASE MAKE PRIVATE LANDS FREE FOR GODS SAKE

.2 hours and almost a year to do this review. This is because at the time, doing a review for the game was pointless to me. It took .2 hours to find out in order to play, I really had to pay, and I was already playing similar games at the time that were one time purchases, so why do a review, for a game I was just giving up on?
After seeing some of my friends who took on the game play much further than I have, and even lost a lot of money doing so, and to find out they tried the game not because I didn't do a review, but because it was in my list with no information, so they wanted to try it as well, sort of makes me feel guilty, that they wouldn't have tried the game in the first place, had I put up a warning like this.
Another reason I quit playing the pay if you really want to play game, was because despite the graphics being different, the mechanics feel the same, and it was then I did some late research in past failed games, and discovered that this game may very well be the freebie a group gave up on, but gave permission to continue on in hopes their work would at least get some recognition. None of their names show in the info, but doing a search for deepworld ripoffs will bring the real name up.
This is all Im going to say, as I just don't like sneaky pay to play games that are ripoffs of my favorites.

I've been playing this game since 2013, I started on Apple then moved to PC and Android. I love this game, the community it has, and the friends I've made along the way.

If you like games like Mincraft or Terraria I guarantee you will like Deepworld, it is the only game thus far I've seen to incorporate the survival-crafting experience with steampunk so well, you will love exploring worlds never knowing what you'll find while digging around; dungeons, crystals, resources, fossils, and maybe even the coveted Onyx (which in all my years of playing I have yet to find one).

This game is driven by the community, players helping each other out, creating worlds specifically designed to help with leveling up, determining the worth of items, or just simply to chill out at.

This is an amazing game, but it could be better, we've known for years what Deepworld could become, and all we need is YOU .

BEFORE BUYING THOUGHTS:
It's a Terraria Clone! No one does that...EVER! Wait, i dont even have Terr- Never mind...

FREE TO PLAY MMO:
One of the things I try to avoid on Steam, If i can, is MMO's and Free to Play games. And when it comes to Survival, Building, Adventure games, there are a bunch. But this....this was special, For one the developers have allowed players to buy their own private world which removes the tedium of griefing on public worlds. Also you may invite friends to your private world, so you know the people you are working with arent going to ruin anything of yours. This feature is what saves this game, In my opinion.

GAMEPLAY:
I run a basic Toshiba laptop, Windows 8.1. It's about 3 years old, and that's not a good PC at all! But it runs this game at 60 FPS with no real drops apart from when it autosaves the session. The Game itself is a side scroller so it uses the WASD controls, you also use the mouse to mine...Much like Terraria.

AFTERTHOUGHTS:
It's fun! I really enjoyed building my base, home and mine...I also loved the private session with my friends which made things more relaxed.

RATING: 9/10

-1 REASON: It's good. but not prefect, Some features could have been added, Like a Singleplayer mode...Who knows that might happen...

Habe das spiel ganze 40 Minuten gespielt...kann man das gespielt nennen?
Das Tutorial ist ätzend. Spiel wird nach 10min langweilig.
Hätte ich 50€ für dieses spiel häts spaß gemacht.
