Early Access Review
Alas, the game will be shutting down in August, for those who didn't know.
Granted, the Unity version ruined it. The game was hack-free, until they announced it to Android & PC. I'm not saying that is a bad thing in general, but it opened a door to cheaters & scripters, which is part of why the community is empty. I played this game when it was iOS only, and it was full of players, blocks, items, and everyone was building insane things. Farms, zoos, even pixel art. Once it got to Unity, people figured out ways to duplicate items, which, in the more serious side of things, created a hyperinflation.
Everybody had those "one of a kind" items, that you could only get on events, given to you by staff, etc. Point is, the economy was ruined. Everything was worth nothing. It completely ruined trading. After that, people found ways to completely scan worlds for loot, meaning they could join, take the goodies, and leave the world. Long gone are the days of searching the same world for days, simply finding an onyx.
Oh, that, and they couldn't afford the hosting for the game anymore, as nobody would buy anything from the shop, because of the reasons I've pointed out. This game was a childhood classic, back on my iPad. Unity was the poison in the cake.
TL;DR - Was a good game for iOS, Unity version introduced hackers and ruined the game entirely.
