Deepworld is unfortunately, not that deep. It is pretty much a Terreria clone and not that fun. A lot of things are locked behind this unbreakable barrier and it lacks the creativity that other voxel games bring to the board. I’m sorry, I cannot recommend it

Love the game

There are certain aspects which are lacking such as new content and bug fixes.
The game was originally made for ios and works best on that platform as there are several things that dont work on the PC version.
I like the gameplay and enjoy building and exploring with my gf.

Game was truly a blast when it was in early development back in mobile but the game is slowly going away as the community scatters off to other games :(

There is a lot to love about this game. It's much like Terraria had a baby with the Steampunk genre.

BUT microtransactions ruined the day.

You probobly should just go buy terraria rather than this pay to win game. It really is not fun at all (for me at least). You have to pay to protect your own land from other players. I was building my own house and i put down a protector tht i got with my free crowns, 2 minutes later some guy comes over and destroys the place and takes my stuff. You need to buy worlds so that you can play solo or with a friend. The mobs are glitchy af and you will get hit randomly then just die out of nowhere. If you ask me, I say waste of time and money (if you are still wanting to PAY for this crap). It may still be in early access and still is being developed, but it is not going anywhere.

I just didn't get into it, seemed boring. Taking apart ghetto looking wallpaper and soil and stuff with the hopes I could make my own little world/home but befor long I realized that I couldn't nor travel to other biomes (So you're stuck with the not-too-shabby apocalypse world). I just felt bored. I think the game would be decent if all the current stuff was given to free players, THEN add something more, and give us a world to call our own. Otherwise you're just sitting around taking stuff apart with nowhere to use it.

Cannot reccomend, after playing 12.5 hours I realized that I would have to play for another 40 hours of fighting to get to resources on the free public instances in order to crafta slihgtly better set of tools. Otherwise I'd have to spend money to create my own instances and then be able to play a glorified 2d minecraft with okay art, and an inadequate trading/crafting system.

This game is litterally cancer. You go around, mining stuff, trying to find valuble loot, but oh no, the place is already looted! Every world has already been looted. Trading. Trading is nothing but scammers and sharkers, its cancer, you cant even give a player YOUR CURRENT TRASH WITHOUT HIM/HER DECLINING IT! The commuinty is pure trash, no one is friendly, they all talk trash. Ive played the game in 2014. Game was trash, and STILL is. There was a glitch where you could curse on mobile, ive done this and it was the best thing besides exploding people in spawn. Did this on accident when an admin/staff member, lisa, was on. I was perma muted. So I thought, "Huh, maybe ill get unmuted in a few months or so!" And 3 years later, NOPE! Still muted. Wasted 5 dollars for premium, PLEASE DO NOT PAY FOR THIS GAME, ITS COMMUNITY IS TOXIC, AND YOU CANT FIND GOOD LOOT

EDIT: I forgot to mention, this game is P2W. Yep, PVP is p2w, in PVP or PVE, you cant tell how much damage you deal, weapons have no sign of showing either, SO ITS NOTHING BUT LUCK, almost every premium member has MARK 3 WEAPONS. PVP IS TRASH, FULL WITH P2W PLAYERS, they even call you poor if you have trash weapons. Please dont spend anything on this game. It isnt worth it.

Edit 2: This game (as I know it) has been up for about 3 years, so my question is, why is it still early access? Shouldnt it already been finalized and continue growing? updates and everything?

been playing this game during 2012-2013 when it was on ios and mac only and i gotta say, its surely a pay to play game at its max, you'll need a protector to protect your buildings and creations, you cant also have your own world, you gotta pay to have one, period i woudnt recommend it, you can pretty much enjoy other mmo games like terraria or growtopia.
