Whenever I start this game on steam deck both sides are being cropped, making it impossible to see both prompt and numbers/letters to select options, making it impossible to play. Did anyone else deal with this?

I have wanted this game awhile and so far not a good impression... When I try to select full-screen it cuts off the screen to the left, making me unable to see the menu. Now the game is stuck in full screen mode and will not change. I should add I am playing this on a CRT. Which seems it was very much intended for so it is capable of 640x480 up to 2048 x 1536 resolution at 85 Hz but I typically keep them at 1600 x 1200. Any idea what is going on?...

Programming a game of my own- this uses the Adventure Game Toolkit. I was even able to do a fair imitation of the Purple Skeleton, although it is green- AGT does not have as much color ability as whatever Sanctuary Black used. Who knows- maybe it can get somewhere. SB proves that such games can still be popular....
