The takedown blackscreen transition in Human evolution was faster and smoother.
I am haveing the same problem, but I cant leave Adam's apartment. every time i try an take the train the game will crash. I have tryed reseting my pc and loading the beta version but the game keeps crashing when I use the train.
No sir. I have given up and plan to wait for future patch.
Now I envy those who crash at launch. Such a terrible feeling being shut out of the game just as the story is reaching climax. Sad.
Btw damn controller vibration still not enable!!! The option is there but no function for Xbox 360 and Xbox one pad!! This is false marketing and scams! They should be sued over this..

This.
FPS also dip to 30's in some areas of the city hubs, otherwise stays around 60 most of the time (this is on a GTX1070 @ 1080p). Will try lowering shadows like someone suggested. The city hubs have awful stutter and FPS issues.
After 2 minutes, realise my 980 is not gonna handle MSAA here because frame rate drops from 60 to 25 regularly (haven't had that kind of performance hit in any other games by enabling MSAA but OK), let's quit out and disable that...
OK, back in, running nice and smooth at 60fps now... get through the initial outdoor section, get inside and think, hey this area seems a bit sparse, there's hardly any stuff in the room... 5 seconds later realise that there are a bunch of bricks floating in the air. Walk up to them, invisible wall. I hit the cover button, Jensen crouches behind nothing. I guess there's supposed to be cover there, but I can't see it.
Quit out, tried a bunch of different graphics settings, but always floating bricks and invisible objects. WTF.
Game is basically unplayable because I don't know where the cover is and where it isn't. Walking through any room, Jensen will suddenly stop dead because there's something in front of him. Something that I can't see.
I feel like this is kind of a ridiculous problem to have at launch, but I guess I'll check in again with each patch to see if it's fixed. Sigh. Guess we're beta testing this for Eidos for free, guys and girls.
