Deus Ex: Mankind Divided™

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided™

Statistiche:
System requirements - is the game really that demanding?
Looking at the minimum and recommended, they seem insanely high. I know it's a new game engine but still, 8GB RAM MINIMUM with HD 7870 is quite something. Then recommending a top-of-the-line 8 core processor or a top-end i7 with 16GB RAM? Now that's what I don't get. Do you think these requirements will be accurate? Will I be able to max the game at 1080p with the following specs?

GTX 1060 6GB
12GB RAM
i5-3470 3.2GHz quad-core

Sadly with how specs have been off lately, and the effects tweaking can have and how each system works differently hard to say.
1. Doesnt seem to be that impressive graphically, after seeing lip syncing, animations and some of the textures in the streamed leaked videos
2. Since its a new engine, the recommended requirements are set higher to be just sure, its always a hard time to programmers to optimize a game on a graphical engine, they didnt use before
3. Your CPU and GPU are mid-end ones(as a side note, a R9 390 would have been a better bang for your buck), so you will most likely have to stick to Medium-High settings

I see about the CPU but I think most games recommend a silly powerful CPU but really don't require it to get decent framerates. As for the GPU, the 1060 is faster than the RX 480, R9 390 and GTX 970 in most games and I got it cheaper than you can get all of those cards for so I'm confused about your statement regarding "bang for buck.
They might just be doing what Call of Duty did with the last game (or was it the game before?) where they intentionally lied about the recommended specs, saying it needed 8GB RAM and so forth. To generate hype and more pre0order sales.

Then when the game came out some guy was playing it on a machine with on-board standard graphics card and 2GB RAM at low settings and it worked fine lol.
Mine is a 2 years old computer : i3-3220 quad3.30ghz
R7 200 with 16 gb RAM

Can it run DE:MD on med with tweak?

Yeah usually the case. They just put stupidly high requirements to cover their backs. But in doing so, surely they'd get less sales because people think they wouldn't be able to run it?
Can I run the game on the following specs??
Processor-Intel i3-3220
Graphics-ZOTAC GTX 750Ti 2GB OC edition
RAM-6 GB

once again another AMD user that has no idea what their actual card is. R7 200 is a series of cards with performance ranging from pretty slow to abysmally slow so it depends on the exact card that you have as to how you will run it. even the fastest R7 200 card, the 265, is below minimum requirements though. and if you have a 250 or slower then you might as well get a refund. I doubt a 240 could even maintain 30 fps on lowest settings at 720.

You haven't been outside much have you? Much less looked at today's generation of computer hardware.

The latest GPU that AMD and Nvidia has released are TWO freaking generations ahead of the last, not a single generation, but TWO generation.

A GTX 750 ti is considered 'low' graphics to 2016's PC titles.
X60s are considered 'medium' and X70s are considered 'medium high' and X80 and above are 'high' ends.

Then you have the Titan X which are at the 'Enthusiast' levels.

If you look at the budget of non-inflated, non-price gouged range for GPU:

GTX 750/950 and R7 360= Low (Price range of 100-150 USD)
GTX 970 and R9 380X = Medium ($150 to $230 USD)
GTX 980 and R9 390X = High ($250 to $300 USD)

Now with the new generation of GPU and them being 2 generations ahead, they are both cheaper and more powerful at the same levels:

RX 460 @ $100-$150= GTX 950
RX 470 @ $170-$200= GTX 970
RX 480 @ $200-$250= GTX 980

Considering that Nvidia gpu only performs 'better' because of the use of Cuda cores, if you remove Cuda cores, they have the same performance in the 'new generation' graph.

These 'Cuda cores' are very inefficient in Dx12, which explains something about how Nvidia does things with their GPU.

If it's anything like the vast majority of PC releases these days- and I truly hope I am dead wrong here- it will probably have pretty lackluster optimization on day one of release. There's really no way of telling for sure until it's out, though. I'd take all the other reports of performance or benchmarks until then with a grain of salt. Nvidia has already released its game-ready drivers, too, so there is that.
Again, genuinely hope I am wrong, but there's little denying that this is the trend now by and large.

Why are you comparing the 970 to the 380x? The 970 blows the 380x out of the water. That is an awful comparison. The 970 is in comparison to the 390. Your price range for the card as well is horrible.

Since when? There tends to be a huge problem with people buying games they can't even hope to run.
