Full screen without stretching?

When I do full screen, instead of properly letterboxing the game, it stretches the screen out to the resolution of the monitor, and since most of us have wide screen monitors, that's no good. Is there a way to fix the full screen so it doesn't do that?

I dunno but have you tried Borderless Gaming? I wonder if it can letterbox stuff when it does its thing.

Not sure if it will fix my problem, but I'll look into it. From the looks of it, though, BG works more for modern games rather than legacy games or indie titles that have lower resolutions.

Nope, BG doesn't work for me, in fact, just makes it needlessly complicated.

I tried fiddling around with my graphics settings, it looks like Eversion FORCES stretching.
