When do you ADS?

How often do you guys aim down your sights? I was just wanting to see what the community does because I feel as though I don't get enough kills. I usually hipfire but have tried changing up the way I play.

Thanks for tip number 3, I thought the spread was already a tight spread. (Also tapping with hipfire has the same effect but is it a little larger than ads tapping?)

Despite what a lot of the people here say, ads is pretty good in this game. Of course you can't just stand around in ads though. You just pop into it, shoot, and pop out.

Both lower spread but with tapfire you lose also bullets/second.
ADS tapping is useful for reducing heavy spread e.g. of Fraggers K121MG or the Grandeur.
Not sure what reduces the spread most but you can combine them for stronger effect.

I use the Stark and compared to other weapons the accuracy increase when ADSing with it seems to actually be useful. It gives me that extra amount needed to hit those precious extra shots for even more damage.
So I use it when I seem to have trouble with hitting my opponents, be it at long range or even in some close range cases.

Never use ADS except in long and very long range combat.
Use ADS only for sniping.
Use ADS for medium-long range if you use K121 or Timik 47, don't use it in medium or close.

I use it ocasionally at long range with Fragger's lmg, other than that almost never
