I'm going to vote for D, i'm not going to use the cheats but I want other people to be saved from the hasle of doing everything all over again.
Everything for my favorite developers! ;)
- Some people don't mind doing it all again without using cheats
- People who don't want their progress gone could use cheats to get right back on track
- We will get the update much sooner
- The developers won't have as much work porting the progress to the new update
@Task
Well, the way things are coded won't allow you to simply "drag and drop" some files. Take some other Early Access games as an example, in order to implement those huge updates, they need to clear all progress. This is why you can't buy an Early Access game without expecting save game wipes, the games need to update and it's not always compatible with the save files due to changes in the system that will most likely cause some nasty bugs.
The save files will NOT be wiped when the games receive the post-beta update, that would be unacceptable.
Okay, thanks Zeron, I know enough now :)
