Game constantly crashes when I go to next stage.
Hello.
I'm stuck in this game due to bug that happens on Epic Games version.

When I proceed to the right, game will crash.... did anyone else experienced that before?

There's an update that fixes the issue.

I've experienced that myself. Based on the game's handy output log and comparing it to the physical contents of the folders, it looks like some vital content is unintentionally-missing from the Epic Games build:

It's happening to everyone. When you check the log file, it says it crashed because it was missing a sound file named "Steam.xnb".

It appears that when putting the game on EGS, someone tried to scrub any mention of Steam from the files and now it's causing this crash.

(FWIW, the crash occurs because that third area begins with a bunch of steam pipes)

not gonna install epic launcher now i guess ?...i really want this game ...sigh

Would you be kind enough to reply here whenever its fixed and update the post ? i'd really like to play this game and willing to install that client for it.

Don't be so hasty. This looks like an honest mistake on the side of the developer, so reporting the mistake here will help bring it to the dev's attention.

fix: copy a .xnb-file in C:\Program Files\Epic Games\AxiomVerge\Content\Audio\SoundEffects and name it Steam.xnb

*smh* Such hyper toxic forums wasting people time. This issue would've been cleared up far quicker had we simply been able to e-mail the developers instead of using ancient technologies like message boards... /s
