Almost immediately after starting all phones disconnect.
Really want to enjoy this game, but almost immediately after starting a game and joining, all connected phones (or laptops, we tried different devices) were disconnected. Port forwarding didn't seem to help, nor did flushing cache. Tried hosting from two different machines. Were there problems with the servers tonight? Any other ideas?

Devices used included iphones and Android phones running safari, chrome, Firefox, all the same result. All kicked very shortly after joining.

Were you able to reconnect after or was it telling you 'invalid room code'?

Do you have any firewalls or internet filters turned on?

If all controller devices are experiencing the same issue, and changing host devices didn't help then it sounds like it has to do with your connection. Possibly a setting, or a firewall/filter.

I was not able to reconnect. It was telling me "invalid room code", exactly as you have described.

No firewall. Only internet filter is Avast, which I will now uninstall to test. (I had it disabled, but who knows?)

Will report back.

Just uninstalled Avast. No difference. Still getting almost immediate disconnects from all mobile devices shortly after joining. "Invalid room code" upon attempt to rejoin.

No firewalls/filters running at all.

Any further ideas?

Are you playing on your home network, or a dorm/office type situation?

Home network. Using Airport Express, PPPoE connecting through a Draytek Vigor 120 to a PPPoA line. PC accesses network by Powerline ethernet adapter. Mobile devices access network by wifi, or we've even tried turning off wifi and having the phones use their 3G connections. Same effect.

I've been having the exact same problem (also with firewall turned off/told to accept Jackbox/uninstalled, also PC connected via ethernet, mobiles on both wi-fi and data) - both last night and last Saturday (UK). It's making the game unplayable for me.

AlexJSpencer can you please post some details about your network connection. There might be a common theme between the two of you.

If you both post some system specs for your PC that might help as well. Have you tried any other alternate host devices, or if possible, have you tried on a different network? I know it's not ideal, but if you can try either of these it will help us track down and fix this issue. Thanks!

This may have to do with you both being in the UK region, we are investigating and appreciate your patience with us.

I am in the UK too.

I'm actually currently in a completely different location, so different network, and still having the same problem.

As for host device, haven't had chance to try another machine yet - but this is a Asus laptop, Windows 7 64-bit, 4GB RAM, 1.7 GHz Intel i5 processor.
Jaidee 20 Dec, 2014 @ 4:33am
Alex, when you say different location, do you mean still within the UK? I really think that's the issue.

My machine specs are as follows:

Processor: AMD FX-6300
Memory: 8GB Corsair DDR3
Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 270

Have tried an alternate machine with similar specs but different graphics card and mainboard.

Can't really try a different network but will report back if I find a way.

I am having the same problem too. Exactly as Alex and Jaidee described.

I'm also in the UK, tried opening all the ports suggested and disabled windows firewall and routers firewall. Made no difference and game is still unplayable :/

A mixture of android/iphone phones couldnt connect. Even a phone using celluar an not thw wi-fi would not work.

Same issue. Bought yesterday tried at home and didn't work. Just tried tonight at friends and same issue. Everyone enters code and after a few seconds everyone gets disconnected. Re-entering room code just says error and does nothing. Tried port forwarding but still same. I am also in UK. Disappointing not being able to play anything after looking forward to getting to play in the UK for a quite a while. Hopefully it's fixed soon as in the state it is in at the minute buying this is pretty much giving your money away for nothing.
