I had lost all hope - so happy this can release! Funny that it has to be so soon before Wilds.. but Dauntless is a good time.

Hopefully the developers will enable Linux support in EAC so I can play on Steam Deck.

One of the developers on Discord has confirmed that they are looking to support Steam Deck, though things are still in flux. Good news!

They already enabled EAC for Linux, been playing this on Linux for a while (via Heroic Games)

Yeah this game runs just fine with proton on the Steam deck. It’ll be better if it gets official support tho.

Yeah, my workaround for the longest time has been Nvidia Geforce Now - I would like to just be able to play it straight on my Deck

It just runs on the Deck. There's no issue at all. Neither on LCD nor on LED. I have found information on how to set it up on the official Discord in #technical-workarounds.

If, for any reason it's not working on Deck you can always use geforce now.

you can also cross save play it on switch

It is playable on the switch "IE badly" why would they not support the steamdeck. Proton is pretty malleable.. the only thing I am not sure about is Easy anti cheat working.
