I noticed ROM being updated today (Oct 10, 2016) and thought maybe, just maybe...
It turnd out to be only 16mbs or so, so I'm guessing this isn't the VA patch. This brings me to an important question.

Is PC getting a VA patch or is that exclusively for the PS? Also, what was the purpose of this patch? If anyone knows, hit me up. Thanks!

PC will be getting a VA patch when the game is released for the PS. I don't know what this patch was and Midboss and ROM's social media accounts haven't mentioned it.

It was supposed to be but trouble with the development for the Vita version has pushed it back. Sad but that's life I suppose.

So what was this patch about? I own this on humble and it got updated there as well. No expanation as to what they've changed or fixed or added.

Hello! The playstation and the pc versions will be releasing at the same time now and we hope to announce the date soon but... it should be soon :)

Ah ok, sorry then. I just wish the pc update would have come sooner since i really wanna play it with voice over but i guess we'll wait till next year some time to have it because of those playstation unicorns
