Exactly...I heard Tencent is one of their bigger shareholders so maybe that's why. I'm very disappointed at this kind of asian female characters that look like they've gone through at least 20 plastic surgeries.

I totally disagree. I don't see the so-called "Massive DEI adjustments on female characters".
If you think that's not "pretty faces" or "big tits", then I say you're either blind or a troll.

Her face looks even better and natural than previous version, I like her new face more, and her tits are still the same size, just the cleavage is less obvious in the new pic, and I think that's mainly because the light, shading and cloth designs are different, the graphic obviously is darker in new version. She also wears two different outfits in your comparison pics, not the same.

You can see she changes armor / outfit in 20:58, and her boobs look even bigger and firm in the new armor, also still jiggle. Her boobs are jiggling like that, and also show panties, but you think that's because "they really wanna win TGA"? Do you mean that American's' TGA? You really are either a troll or blind.

Give me a break of your scapgoating, Tencent literally funds this game right from the start, and the studio who makes this game, Eclipse Glow Games, is literally Tencent's studio. Without Tencent, this studio and this game wouldn't even exist.

Do you know what game and studio are also funded by Tencent? Stellar Blade and Shift Up.
Tencent invested Shift Up right after Stellar Blade's first debut in 2022, also helped them publishing Nikke. Both are super sexy and made wokies seething hard.
I didn't see anyone whining about muh DEI on these games.

The face looks a bit off, and I honestly liked the old outfit more. I hope that we can at least get that one back somehow. If there's even a way to customize your outfit and whatnot. If not, I guess I just gotta hope a modder makes that one from scratch. Though, I don't think that'll be too much of a stretch. The game looks like a lot of fun, and a fun game often means mods.

Back to the face, I don't think it's exactly ugly by any means, but it doesn't exactly look right either. Like, the game takes place in England, right? Well, she doesn't even look like she even is from england anymore.

I hope they'll change it back, though I doubt that will happen. I guess mods will need to restore the original face, boobs, and outfit.

I don't know much about the modding compatibility of UE5 when it comes to tweaking character models, sure it would be great if possible but it's just sad that players have to do their job, like why would you make her face look like that when you give her a British background, right? Must be hard for them to at least learn from some JRPGs like FF

I like and appreciate both old and new versions of the main character's appearance.
That said, I quite liked and somewhat prefer the darker and grittier impression from the early trailers. I hope the developers can make her look more worn out as the story progresses, as she faces bigger and harder challenges/bosses? The current one looks a little too cheery and plump for this dark fantasy, but let the devs do what they think is best. The demo looks amazing!
