Everytime i click on world button it crashes, tried everything ive seen in the bugs sections
This is the crash log i am getting, I've tried deleting all my profiles, manually deleting the game re-installing, java updates and the lot and i am completely stumped, any help would be much appreciated!

This may be a ridiculous long shot, but are you sure you're running a 64 bit operating system? If you have a 32 bit version of Win 10 installed, Java will always run the 32 bit JRE no matter what you do otherwise.

We can take this a step farther, and force the .bat file to run the bundled 64 bit JRE and allocate the memory needed.

Right click on RtR.bat and click edit, then replace the contents with this;
jre\windows64\bin\java -Xms4096m -Xmx4096m -Duser.country=US -Duser.language=en -jar Core.jar

Save the file, then run it. It should forcefully run the bundled 64 bit JRE and allocate 4 gigs of ram. :)

Ok, so i did verify my system to make sure it is 64bit and it is, i then edited the file, and saved and now it does not open, i am also running 16gb of RAM so i know i definetly have enough for this game i am sure

Hmm, this might be an odd question, but do you happen to have a Razer device?

It appears you actually *do* have something overriding the JVM's variables at launch not allowing it to allocate moire that 256 megs of ram. My guess is it has to be a third party application of some kind that's detecting any java launch, then hooking in the change. But googling how to fix "Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Xmx256M" should help find the root of the problem.

Hopefully we can get this resolved; Good news is once we do you should see a *huge* performance increase in RtR. The game was never designed to run with so little ram.

I do have all Razor Devices, mouse, and keyboard as well, read the thread on there and my razor synapse is logged out and closed,

Allright!! We got it to work!! it was in the system enviorments it was limiting Java to only 256m so i deleted that preference and now it works!! And it runs way smoother than before, Thank you so much for your help, if anything else comes up i will let you know but for now looks like problem solved!!:steamhappy:

Awesome! Glad it's all working now. You should also be able to run the game through Steam again just fine too.

This problem effected all your java applications, so if you play any other Java games like Delver, Project Zomboid, Minecraft, or Hammerwatch you should see a nice performance boost with them too. :)
