Issue with change to CP vendor.
This is from the most recent patch notes :

– From now on, goods purchased from the Glory vendors for CP, which can also be purchased in the Supporter Shop, are automatically used instead of being moved to the player’s inventory

I am not sure how I feel about this one. As it means I can't help new players out by gifting them Ability respec Books. so they can try out the different combinations and see what works best for them.

Like the update. But the above part is really bad. Suggesting ability and attribute books still be tradeable.

Thank you for your feedback. We decided to do it this way because looking at the data, it was clear that respec/restat scrolls had way too little demand compared to their availability, considering the amount of Contribution Points owned by the veterans. In effect, one player could buy hundreds of them at once and flood the market, greatly reducing their value - which would have serious downsides for the economy.

It was a serious problem in the long run so we gave it a lot of time to think it through. We could either increase the prices in CP 5x for entire Glory vendor's assortment or do less drastic tweaks and lock re-selling them if they were bought for CP. We decided that the second option is much better, since it allows new players to gain CP more easily by doing Daily Challenges and achieving level 40 (leaving the Greenleaf stage), so they can obtain these items on their own.

Also, thanks to all these balance changes we can keep desired time it takes to gain enough CP to purchase these items, i.e. according to the CP gain data buying respec/restart scrolls will take just some days for the end-game players, so their value will remain. At the same time, we reduced prices of the top recipes to improve the balance of the overall CP prices distribution and reduce the "possibilities gap" between the new players and veterans to some degree.

Hope that I could address your concerns and show you our point of view. Have a nice day!

I agree with the original post.

This game is still in Alpha, and is subject to change on a weekly basis - as can be seen from this weeks combat tweaks. Therefore the option to respec easily should be encouraged as it allows us to test the various changes. As of the recent changes, the few remaining respec scrolls have gone up in price - which is doubly annoying for me as I was waiting for the weekly influx of scrolls, which pushes down the price, to respec today.

Cynically one might think this is a ploy to encourage the use of the paid shop. I personally liked the old system as it would allow me to save my CP points for the armour drops - which even if you play daily take many weeks to save up for.

Please reconsider - if you really are concerned about the market becoming flooded with respecs, there are other ways to manage this rather than removing this option entirely.

As a vet i can agree that by farming catacombs event and events u can make a lot cp mostly couse of catas couse it give around 1k for full quest chain but problem is that only 2 nations have a opcion to get there in time to do it from the capital so one nation dont rly have opcion for farming there. When sangmar had skergard we had a chance to do catas so i can tell that 7k cp per day is ez to make if u can farm catacombs but if u cannot its more likely u will get 2-3k instead and im talking about whole day of playing. Also when as a guy above said when u introduce new perks or change them would be nice to give players resets. After this patch my medic shield breaker build is useless due to no stun after breaking enemy shield so why should i bother use perks for damage to shields if its better for me to just kick enemy?

is this the same for armour and weapons sold for CP points? How would a player buy items with points accumulated on one character and transfer them to a crafting character?

No, it's only for items with specific effects which can also be purchased for in the Supporter Shop. Equipment and recipes don't give effects and aren't available for Ambers - to do otherwise could be taken as Pay to Win, which we're avoiding to keep the game's focus on the player's own skill in combat - so they can be normally sold or transferred.
