Out of video memory

I'm constantly having the game crash complaining that it's out of video memory. My amd drivers are up to date and it's only actually using 2gb out of 12gb of video memory on the graphics card. I tried turning down my settings and turning world detail all the way down, but it still happens. Anyone have any ideas to try?

This seems to be an on-going issue.

Try setting the game to windowed at the resolution you want to use and see if that corrects the issue.
