critical error when exiting toxikk

hello friends. every time i exit the game reliability report says i have an critical error.
i managed to narrow is down to the crashandler.dll file on steam library. when i rename it problem is solved but then steam will update and the problem is once more present. i don't have this with any other game please if there is a solution then I'm willing to provide any technical info needed otherwise the game is great and runs fine. i have so much fun. love it! thank you in advance. (guys this is an email i sent to toxikk customers service. they advised me to post it here so any help will be welcomed :))

Best answer I got is to uninstall, remove all the TOXIKK steam library files & re-install.

Did you try it on a different PC? Or maybe a Steam reinstall? As it doesn't seem to happen to anyone else, it should be something on your local PC.

yes did everything you guys mentioned and all i could think about to solve the problem. :\ - edit: it is probably my pc. but why it only happens with this game only and not my other steam games?

Last time I played was 2018....installed it back today and gave it another whirl. Crashed to desktop while in settings. Got one solo game in. Tried out multiplayer...sad to see its a ghost town but one actual player did end up joining into the game. Game finished, I won, stats...FROZEN. I had to open a new desktop window just to open Task Manager to end the game. Otherwise was a fun little match like I remembered playing back in the day in Unreal Tournament.

Have you done any GPU changes? Overclock changes? I've ran into issues by diving into nvidia settings trying "new" things then my old games didn't work until I went back to original settings and re-installing TOXIKK etc.
