Game is too slow paced, WTF???

So, been playin the game for more than two hours, doin quests and stuff and untill now Im just a low down soldier armed with freaking regular swords!!! WTF?? Where is my light sabre??? When will I stop bein a nobody and become a sith bada$$? Just how long will it take, 10 hours?? Whats the point and fun in bein a nobody in the Star Wars universe, I want to be a sith! The pics of the game show siths dueling with jedis, thats what I wanna do! When will it happen?

The game doesn't give you the lightsabers at the start because it expects you to earn them over time, and so that once you get them you appreciate it more than if you just started with them
Just keep playing and stay patient, it'll be worth it once you get there!

It all depends how in depth you want to get in the story, pass the first planet And get out of there, then things become more interesting, if you focus solely on finding Bastila, Taris can be passed in about 20 min. You'll get out low level and that means more levels as a Jedi.

You won't reach that part of the game until after you finish the first planet. Just do the quests and you'll eventually get there.

Taris does suck. I always hate it when I start a new game but I always end up doing all the side quests and holding off on leveling up until Dantooine. It's tricky but not terrible once you have Zalbaar, dueling sucks though, I recommend a lot of grenades and shields.

I know that. I pumped hundreds of hours into jk3 mp back in the day. But I recommended it because that's exactly what this idiot needs. Being badass and swinging glowstick around. Jk3 is just that.
