Great Ape Playable Character?

So, I was playing a online pq, joined a game and some guy was a Great Ape. I have never seen this or even ever heard that you could play as one. Just wondering if it is actually a playable character or is it sometime of hack/mod?

I would have put a couple of pictures up but haven't figured anyway to do that yet.

You joined his game from the sound of things.
Also some people really want to see some wacky things being done with Great Apes.

I joined someone's game yes, he was the third person to join. Like i said before if you are gonna cheat/hack/mod then you shouldn't take the enjoyment out of someone else's game because you want to see what it is like.

And when did I give you the thought that I joined his game. If I joined his game and he was doing that I would have just left but he came into someone else's game.

Be on the look out for other characters besides Apes. The hack is one that replaces your created character with another character, allowing you to play as ANY unplayable character that's in the game files.

You should note and report anybody hacking online to obtain unfair advantages or balance breaking feats such as character hacks.

So long as something like this is only used in PQ I don't really even care. Hell i would be laugh so hard at watching a great ape own PQ stuff lol.

So yeah if its PQ i don't care just keep it out of PVP tho.

Wouldn't playing as a great ape just confirm that dlc for apes is already their? They just want us to pay to unlock it? Anyways still pretty cool can't wait. take all my monies plis devs. :P

No, it doesn't. The hack allows you to play any unplayable character so long as they are in the game. Saiyan Apes are already in the game, thus you can play as them.

Same goes for Mira, Towa, Demigra (both forms) and a bunch of others. Just because you can hack them playable, doesn't mean they are planned DLC. Though I won't be surprised if one or more of the last three I mentioned are.

You can even hack those little robots playable, a good example of a character I don't think they are planning to make DLC.
