spin attack?
So i recently bought the drill parts that let you do the spin attack, and now(yes using a controller) i find myself using the spin attack without meaning to, semi frequently. Sometimes i'll move then stop for a second, try to do a normal drill attack and instead i find i'm doing a spin attack.
I've tried the deadzone fix from here https://steamcommunity.com/app/322290/discussions/0/611701999539201250/ doesn't seem to help. Its supposed to go in the folder called "Gurumin a monstrous adventure" right? That was where i put it.
I've even tried using a literally brand new switch pro controller, issue still persists. Not having any other deadzone issues, just only with the spin attack. Was it really designed to be so hypersensitive?

Okay now i've tried unticking the "use gamepad" box and setting up joy2key instead. Still get the same result. Still not sure if the attack is just designed to be super easy to activate, or if its actually a deadzone issue. I've also tried about 3 different controllers in total, like i said one of them was a literally brand new switch pro controller

Okay tried the game on 3ds since it was on sale on there. Still running into the same thing and i hardly ever use my 3ds. From what i can tell after some testing is that the attack seems to trigger from just a 180 degree sweep with the analog and not 360 degrees. This makes it rather easy to activate the attack without intending to. Guess i'll just have to try and get used to that.

Okay i found a solution that 99% solves the problem. Just using d-pad for movement works great. Main problem is i'm not used to using d-pad so gets kinda wearing on the hand.
