No New Registrations?

I'm trying to introduce a couple friends to Metal Drift, and we're hoping to play a bunch this weekend. However, when they try to register for a Metal Drift account (which is required to play the game) they don't get an e-mailed response with a password... so we can't play. I e-mailed the dev, but their web site hasn't seen any new updates in years, so I figured I'd post here too.

I'm really hoping this gets worked out as I'm really excited to play some Metal Drift this weekend. If this doesn't get resolved I'm curious how they can continue to sell the game as no new player will ever be able to use the game.

Not sure what happened, as I got no response from the dev, but registrations are suddenly working again. Woot!

I just had to reregister since I lost access to my other email. It took maybe 3-5 minutes, but eventually I received the email with my pw.

I posted about this a decade ago. Wake me up when you have a remastered VR version.
