The game crashes a lot

Back when the game got released and I bought it I played a lot of Cosmonautica and had only very few problems with it.

I decided to give it a go again recently but I am running into constant crashes.
Unfortunately I have no way to reproduce these as they seem to happen at random.

Had several during Time Acceleration while nothing happend besides travelling in the starter system.
Had one right as research was finished - I noticed that the research screen was showing a blank page.
And I just had one after accepting the bribe in the aftermath of a space combat that I won.

The last one definitely was the most frustrating one.

And like I said before I haven't had these problems before.
The only thing that changed on my side is that I upgraded from a nvidia GTX 560 Ti to a GTX 960

It seems the game crashes less often if I run it in full screen instead of windowed mode as before.

Well, the crashes are not specifically bound to an event. It's more a problem between the engine and the used UI middleware. There are updates for the middleware, but there are no more updates for the engine since they ceased development.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but that's it. Still that's a matter we discuss and we might rebuild it with a new engine or find a creative way to remove the issues, but all options will take time.

Running it in Full Screen Mode helps to reduce the crashes to a minimum so there's that.
