I got mine fixed. What i had to do was delete my game files becasue they have become corrupt. It's a pain because yo have to start all over but its worth it

Love this game but every fifth click or so when I click the screen the game pauses and minimizes itself.. it's reaaallly irritating and there's no reason I can see for it doing this. Anyone else had this problem. Using windows 7.

That didn't work but thanks anyway. Figured it out in the end.. I have a dual monitor setup to extend my main monitor and every time I got to the edge of my screen during the game it would crash. All I did was change my settings to "mirror" monitors instead in "Display" settings in Windows and problem solved.

I have 2 R9 290s running in crossfire, my rig can run GTA at 2560x1440p with a ton of graphical mods without even batting an eye, yet this game can't even run properly at 720p without artifacts, crashes and endless headaches. I think DON'T NOD doesn't actually optimize their games properly when they're making PC ports or they just don't optimize for AMD. I have another one of their games Remember Me, exact same bugs as life is strange. Remember Me wasn't even playable at 2K, not because my machine couldn't handle it (my PC was able to get a pretty solid framerate at 2K maxed out). It was not playable because all of their cutscenes are in 720p and it would keep yoying my display resolution back in fourth between 2K and 720p, sometime switching as frequently as 3 times in 15 seconds in bossbattles. That's sooo destabilizing, it was making the game crash constantly. I love the games these guys make but their quality control is not existent. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy any further Don't Nod games.

I also saw that PhysX is set as prerequit. How does that work if you have AMD? Usually PhysX heavy games just give us the choice to turn physX off. Is this the case here? Maybe you guys should use havok instead, does everything that PhysX does but it's not owned by nVidia.

I have the same problem. Tried everything above; the two links to other suggestions plus removing my save file. I'm stuck not being able to play the game.
