Update 1.0.2.2 - Fixes and new features
Hello everyone,
We just finished this version for public release. We are uploading the build and will prepare for the Steam package (uploading in October 30 11h p.m. GMT-3). So, probably it will going to be ready for tomorrow morning for the most of you.
Below you can find the fixes and new features. We tested this version internally and also with real players (some of you, :P ) with low and good PC specs. The tests were good and we hope the fixes below solve the crash problems for those who are running with low memory.
In case this not happen, please, just let us know here in the foruns. We will work in a new update next week anyway, so we will include more fixes and possible new features.
This version will come with new options in XML for you to customize the game and also the first option for changing the police vehicle texture. For now we made for the first police vehicle only, for testing purposes, next week we will make the others available.
FIXES
- General: make mouse buttons to work on directional lights
- General: center map TOTALLY redone. We hope this fix the first start game crash (out of memory)
- General: traffic spawn is better (we will keep improving), no more crazy flying cars, if you spot any, let us know.
- General: better parked vehicles (no more flying vehicles) (made lots of tests)
- General: balanced stats without players change XML custom file (although, we cannot please everyone, so, for you that want a different stats, you can change at the custom XML file)
- General: game is less heavy for shaders and overall textures
- Vehicle: better driving experience (better handling) - we will keep improving with the community feedback.
- Vehicle: vehicle icon fixed (will not appear together with player icon)
- Mission: report does not fit on screen sometimes (Police Station) also can use Enter as key to confirm
- Mission: drunks will no longer be reported as innocent person
- Mission: red markers now will appear more time, but the player will have to check some false players also, giving more challenge, but always a chance to complete
- Player: fixed where shot can hit markers, so sometimes players cannot hit criminals.
- Player: while on mellee combat, will not break animations anymore
- Player: kicking a door in a house with 2 doors no longer crash
- Criminals: make criminals run less than player
- Criminals: will run for more time when running from police
- Camera: fixed orbit cam handle
NEW FEATURES
- General: make 2 sensibility sliders (on foot and vehicle)
- General: map select before going out of home
- Camera orbit mode works with V key
- Vehicle: new sirens for the unmarked vehicle
- Mission: new markers will follow criminals and update from time to time, but it is per zone, not really per criminal
- Mod: external textures for vehicle modding (players can change and it will be replaced in game). For now, only for the first police vehicle
As you can see, we try to check and answer all messages from all players. Sometimes it is just too many messages and we cannot handle.
If you find bugs, just report to us, making new posts every hour will not speed up our fix time, it will only make it slower... we thank you for understanding us.
Also, we just added a new picture of the lights of the unmarked vehicle on Facebook.
Soon we will also tell about our future plans ;)

Just to let you know it's 5 hours after you posted this thread and no sign of an update yet for me.
Just a heads up.
We're just making some small tests and we'll be uploading it within the next couple of hours. I'll make an announcement when the game is ready to download.
