Bug, crash and low performance reports

Hi all!

In this topic you will be able to post bug reports and any other stuff you find strange during the gameplay. For example if you get stuck somewhere and can't move, if the game crashes of if you have a capable PC, but the game still drags while you play it.

PLEASE READ HOW EXACTLY REPORT A BUG, CRASH OR LOW PERFORMANCE BECAUSE YOU MAKE IT MUCH EASIER FOR US TO FIX THE ISSUES

How to report a bug?

1. While in the game, open the Map by pressing "M" on the keyboard.
   
2. In the below left corner of the Map, check the "Position" and the numbers.
   
3. Those numbers are the coordinates. Write down the coordinates in your post in this topic.
   
4. Send us your savegame to support[at]dreamatrix[dot]net along with the coordinates of the bug. In the subject and in the body of the email describe your issue. Try to be as specific as you can.
   
5. It would be great if you could send us a screenshot of a bug, too.

How to report a game crash?

1. After the game crashes, it will generate an error log.
   
2. Error log is located in Steam\steamapps\common\Wave of Darkness\logs\
   
3. Please ZIP "images, game_lod.dmp and game_lod.htm" together and send them to support[at]dreamatrix[dot]net email. Like here (screenshot): http://i.imgur.com/hCKWc02.png
   
4. When sending those files, please post a description of the crash. Try to be as detailed and as specific as you can.

How to report low performance in a game

Identical to the method when the game crashes:

1. The game generates an error log while you play it.
   
2. Error log is located in Steam\steamapps\common\Wave of Darkness\logs\
   
3. Please ZIP "images, game_lod.dmp and game_lod.htm" together and send them to support[at]dreamatrix[dot]net email. Like here (screenshot): http://i.imgur.com/hCKWc02.png

So started a new character and found a new shield, equipped it but then it wouldn't allow me to remove it to equip a fancy 2h sword that i had found on a corpse. no matter what button i pressed, or where i dragged the shield it wouldn't allow me to remove it.

Hi Kuzikan, I think you have cursed shield item - red glow. This is new feature. Once equiped, you can not remove any cursed item, until you identify this item (nearest orb do that, and orb is on small island in tutorial area)

I looked for that, it was a green glow, didn't see any mention of cursed.

Did you try by holding the item and simply dragging it out of the inventory?

Are all the Elf Male hair choices supposed to be so... patchy? Looks like a blind barber attacked him. It might be a rendering problem, I'm not sure.

I quit the game, i cannot recreate that spot again since it seems the item was a random loot, sorry guys

We are aware of the hair texture issues. We'll look into that. Thanks for noticing.

As in legends of Dawn sometimes I catch a bug that, after loading a saved game models of slain enemies are still on the ground, where there were enemies themselves.

Can you please write down the coordinates where you encountered the bug? Thanks

Now it happened in 560,626. Although not know whether this effect is dependent on the coordinates.

Found an item description bug:
In one of the buildings you can find a Danian Satchel (does not seem to be random loot as I got it in both games I started). The description says it will add 3 slots to your inventory when used.
But instead it adds a complete new bag with 14 slots to your inventory.

Please change the description accordingly but please, do not reduce the bag space itself. You will need all inventory place you can get (will post more on the suggestion thread).

Thanks for the report, but unfortunately I can't see those links. Says "That item does not exist. It may have been removed by the author."
