atrocious ammo economy
having to rely on random chests for ammo is one of the worst ideas of all time. 9/10 on Velmorne they are all on the far side of the map with no chance of reaching them.

the either need to be placed evenly around the map or replaced with an actual viable ammo system

Ammo is so plentiful they actually had to reduce how much the hunting party drops, but then they added those new corruption drops and that basically offset the nerf. You shouldn't be worrying about ammo at all honestly
Lower ascension problem
it's part of the strategy, harder at first, you'll get more ammo with ascension and you can eventually buy ammo packs, and some spells drop ammo...there are different tools.
Placebo pill is your friend. Don't like how the map is set up? Change it.
Just keep playing...

I hope they somewhat rework the whole ammo system.

Early on without much equipment and tier 1 Mysteriums, you kill way slower and therfor need more ammo.
So the ammo chest become realy important to beat Maps early on.

But you also havent unlocked the trader yet, where you can buy ammo packs, you also havent unlocked world corruption which makes you drown in ammo.
Same with all the ammo beads or the Fallen Prayer that can give you an ammo drop buff.

Right now it feels like ammo econemy only plays a role early on and then suddenly you have way too many ways to never care about ammo ever again.

That's the point.

So many of you don't understand the climb is the first part of the journey with this game. You have to learn the rules first. You have to put in the time, learn the enemies, learn which ones are more dangerous than others, learn which challenges you can take on and which ones are out of your reach, ect. You are weak in the beginning. That's the point.

During some point in your playtime, you're going to realize that you're bending the rules you learned in the beginning, and then once you've unlocked everything and mastered Ascensions, you can down right break those rules.

This feels SOOOOOOO satisfying in a FPS, but the journey has to be there. If you don't have some hurdles to clear in the beginning, it doesn't feel good to sail over them later when you're really powerful.

They probably also do not understand there are RPG and soul elements in this game. This is definitely not their usually shooter games that can be expected to play the very same way.

It certainly isn't.

I'm wondering if people understand they're asking for less playtime without realizing it. Do they want to beat Witchfire in 10-15 hours? I mean, I haven't felt like the grind was too tedious for anything in this game. The amount of time put in has always been worth it.
You haven't played nearly enough of the game if you're making this complaint.
I play on max gnosis and never had any issues with ammo at all. Learn to aim and learn to use all your weapons and spells wisely, you have so many stuff to use ;-)

(Use your spells when they are ready and make use of meele...)

lol you kinda dont get the point at all

Ammo is only a Problem in the beginning of the game....
Just like in most ARPGs Mana is only a problem in the beginning of the game....

but in general yeah the game tries to teach you by forcing you to use all your weapons
to save ammo as much as possible

this includes spells and melee and "weapon arts" like the machine gun linking system where bullets bounce between hit marked targets.. so you need a lot less ammo

I dont see what learning stuff has to do with a flawed ammo system.
Sure learning is part of the experience, things get easier the more you encounter them.

But why make new players struggle with ammo early on and then from gnosis 3 or so, ammo dosent play ANY role anymore, because the game starts to introduce way too many ways to drown in ammo.

It is a flawed system and should get fine tuning or overhaul.
Or just remove it and give the player unlimited ammo so you dont have to waste time collecting all the ammo laying around.

Yeah, it's not flawed. It's a system you have to work around a bit. I just got this game on steam after having it on Epic since it first launched and decided to start a fresh save even though it carried it all over, and ammo really isn't a big deal in the early game. You have to use both of your weapons and you should look at the map and plot a route that's going to take you to an ammo chest about when you think you'll get low, but it's just something interesting to work around. Not flawed at all. Your inability to handle a restriction in a game is a flaw though.
