This game has sucked the very life from my soul :-)

I've got nothing left to do but run around the maps and clear them to gain witchfire to level up the character (255 now), but I still can't leave this game alone.

It's a great game, I can't wait for the release.

Note, though, I don't have the faculties to play it without a health cheat mod. I'm too old and demented to dodge appropriately and my nervous system can't take much gaming stress. I would not have gotten through Island of the Damned... I had this game for 5 months before that mod got the game off the ground for me. I'm glad I did, or I wouldn't have gotten to see the rest of the game. I still try not to lose health, but extreme madness kills my health bar fast if I'm not careful. It seems like it's a rate based on the amount of health you have (it slows down as health is reduced).

It’s simply one of my favorite games. It doesn’t fully release until the end of this year. There is still some work that needs to be done but it has shown a lot of promise with the amount of content it currently has (minus a major story not available until full release).

It's the bestest. We fight the demonic hordes, for honor and glory and more guns. Making builds is actually fun instead of a ♥♥♥♥ chore that other games make you do. The roguelite element is implemented well. Progression isn't grindy as there is almost always something to find or unlock or fight. The actual gameplay is a unique blend of shooter ideas, both old and recent.

if you love hard shooters where the sound of the guns gives you orgasms this game is paradise.

The sound and feeling of the guns and the impact of killing stuff with them is superb

I quit playing FPS games decades ago! Literally 20 -30 years ago, yet i LOVE this game!!!
Its single player, which is an absolute must for me. Plus, its just feels awesome to play. No other FPS, not even the "newer" Dooms have dragged me back for more than 10 hours or so :/

I've played something like this game at least 20 other times
you may then ask me 'why did you buy it if it looked boring', it was just on a whim because I was in the mood for a shooter/rpg, but quickly got bored after finding out it was an extraction/incremental progression type of game

I'd give it a 10. I've played it for well over a hundred hours between Steam and Epic. One of the best games out there. If it launches in 1.0 this year it'll be my easy pick for game of the year.

You have absolutely no idea what objectively means. I've also played games like this. This one is better. Much, better. It's peak.
