Any recent updates/discussions on potential GoG release for this game?
GoG is life.

Please, devs. Just give us a word on this. A short and simple "No, we have no plans to release it on GOG" or "Yes, the game is coming to GOG when we launch 1.0", or something similar.
Can't be to much to ask, right?

Exactly. I prefer devs who give any answer at all - even if it is not one that I would be happy to hear. I would still be happy to hear anything. Lots of devs seem to prefer "radio silence" - which is not great.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

+1 to GoG, it is my main platform. And ever since the recent sony drm monopoly fiasco I am even more cautious.

Thanks for your reply. I hope you can get your games onto as many platforms that are willing to host your game.
I'll re-purchase this game on GoG if they do. I have many games on both Steam and GoG.

I like having games on GoG for when Internet is out.

offline installer and drm free for the win. you can even just copy the installed game without the need of some integration process like with steam. no restrictions how you share the game with your family, better preservation and you own the game 100% on your harddrive or can even burn it on a disc etc.

For me, I like Witchfire enough to want for it to be one of the games I keep either directly on my computer, or in a seperate external drive. Same like HoMM 2 and 3, Warcraft 3, Valheim and the likes. No need for steam or internet or anything besides electricity, and I can play them.

Entire countries easily lose internet. Just one ship dragging an anchor and you can kiss all drm games goodbye for however long it takes to fix the cable. Any larger scale emp or infrastructure damage and internet goes easily, let alone intentional jamming.

That is on top of giving corpos more power over things you paid for with your hard earned money, convience of playing something instead of having to open 3-4 launchers and log in to each of them, with compromisable passwords and possibities of bans or removed items you bought and so on.

You can bootlick drm owner boots, but it is not in your interest.
GOG will have to be* influenced then to reach out with a sweet deal. To the forums!

If business decisions were made on emotions there would simply be no capitalism, everyone would be trading dirt.
So it's even easier. You just open up good old games dreamlist and search it and upvote it.
