Either way... starting over will be worth it, with all of the intended gameplay implementations. It's not guaranteed that saves will become incompatible though.

I don't see how it's possible to avoid restarting due to the story and choice based dialog. I think the plot has to assume some kind of power level and here you are at 6 Gnosis and Full Loadout already at the start of the story

Not everything is progression man, its a pass time it is for fun. Just come back later when you got an itch to play the game there are innumerous games out there even on a f2p budget.

not a huge loss, a wipe doesn't mean all you doing is for nuttin, you learned alot along the way. It will be far easier to get back to where you were previously then otherwise. Especially since most of it revolves around the hub.

The game is awesome. Experience? Yes, great! But I've been grinding ALL equipment to mysterium 3... Why?! Grinding gold, ascensions etc... It's just subjective then, I understand, but I see no point in keeping on doing this to have to do it again.

The game is one of the best there is, btw. imho I find myself telling my friends about the game and I can't stop listing awesomeness xD

Honestly, I treat EA games like investment... I usually don't play during EA, just wait for 1.0 or 1.1 version! As often there is also matter of balance... One of exceptions was Gunfire Reborn, with 100h in EA... But that was exception.

As someone who put in as many hours as I have, I'm ok with a wipe. I put the game down for a long time after nearly beating the witch. I felt the horizon so close that I put it down and have been away for so long that it's gonna be difficult jumping back in at my Gnosis level.

Like others have said, it may suck but there's another view to be had on this. So much content is going to come out, so much gameplay altering goodies, that you need your progress reset back to square one.

It's good in general, thankfully this game isn't like a builder game like enshrouded. In those scenarios it's completely understandable to be burned on the notion of resetting. Like, I'd rather keep my 200+ hour build versus a few goodies, but in this scenario it is what it is.

Tarkov wipes my ass almost every other day, this being the cost for 1.0? I'll take it.

Agreed - I'll be fine with a wipe but I also will leave it uninstalled until the game updates again (who knows when that will be but I'm sure its fine)

There are no unique items we are losing, it's just a grind, which is the whole point of the game and what I enjoy about it lmao.

I know what you mean. I love doing a run or two after work, but it is demotivating to do runs when everything you unlock could be removed later on.

Still, the game is superb and I will be forgiving to the devs if they end up having to wipe our saves. I would love to keep my ascension levels if possible though.

I am ok with the wipe too :)) I was saying that there is no point in playing until the wipe happens, for me at least :)
