What happens when you run the game?
but where is game folder
i need put the Common file/Engine file on where ???
give me a hand pls~~
Just making sure: you’re supposed to be copying the files from the Common folder and the v2.8.3 folder, which is inside the Engine folder.
Copy all of the files in both of those folders to Way of the Samurai’s game directory (if it asks you to overwrite, click Yes, or something similar). If you don’t know how to get here, right-click on the name of the game in Steam, click on Properties, then Local Files, and finally click on the Browse Local Files button. A window should pop up automatically. This is where you’ll copy the files in the Common and v2.8.3 folders to—assuming you haven’t done this already.
thank you
EDIT: After half an hour of tikkering it seems I found a solution, I had to delete the Physx folder from "Way of the Samurai 4\Common", as well as all the files in the root folder, and I made Steam re-download all that.
Then I had to re-install my Nvidia driver and copy/paste all the files like KIKI said again.
It then started up... and crashed immediatly, but now the "S4-SETTINGS.ini" file was created. I re-started the game again and now it works.
At least the game is good but nobody should pay full-price for a port this botched.
at least the game is running for you now
have fun
