1.0.2 Build 1513

The changes with ESC key are nice, but it still doesn't close the Menu, which for me was the most annoying thing about it: using the ESC key while all windows are closed opens the Menu, and using the ESC key while the Menu is open, should close it.
As it is now (and before 1.0.2), you need to click on Resume Game to close the menu, whereas ESC should close it

The UI change, where you can see the unit's HP and morale in the Army Selection Pane was a great idea (can't find this in patch notes btw), but the brown HP is barely visible in most cases.

Might want to change it for a more visible color (maybe red?)

Found a new bug (probably from before patch though):

In tactical combat, while the AI was doing it's 1st turn (new Defender 1st move from 1.0.2), I cast a spell to buff my army, and the spell's effect was applied to the AI army instead of my own. This will probably happen with any spell used during AI turn

Either make sure it gets applied to the correct army, or just disable casting spells during AI turn

Thank you for new bata patch.
It seems that the background music does not sound in v1.02 Bata.

Esc key which he mentioned should have better functionality.

Thanks for the update!

I do agree about the brown HP bars. A more visible color would be better.

Question about "Removed Unit group/Single entity designations from units":

So if this designation is removed, doesn't this hugely affect combat? What's the effect of the change? Does anything change with combat rules?

Another ESC issue:
I think the ESC key should also deselect a selected army and close the Army Pane

Haven´t tryed out this yet, just came back home from work, but it seems like the biggest issues have been more or less resolved, thank you for that! :D
Now: "removed Unit group/Single entity designations from units"
What does that mean exactly?

The changes to irregulars and defender first turn will change battle dynamics quite a lot, I´m eager to see how it pans out. Btw, does Hit & Run and Skirmisher Screen stack if an Irregular recieves retaliation fire while attacking?

I´m exited to move on to fine-tuning and balance :D

Edit: It seems that the description of Hit & Run hasn´t been actualized on the recruitment screen. And on the unit card it reads that the reduction is 40% :/

Another ESC issue:

As of this patch, the ESC key (correctly) closes the Finances Screen (top center), but does NOT close the Messages Screen (right below the Finances)

What does that mean exactly?

It means single entity units won't take extra damage from ranged attacks.

Noted the audio issue, areas where ESC is not working, battle casting issue, and text issue with hit and run - thanks for the feedback.

It means single entity units won't take extra damage from ranged attacks.

It (should?) also mean that formerly single entity units will have the damage they cause reduced as they take damage.
