NT release date December 5, 2015
ETG release date April 5, 2016

Nuclear Throne was in early access for a long time before release. Similar story to Terraria being very inspired by Minecraft despite being released almost a year before Minecraft.
There is even a shrine in Gungeon that has been there since launch dedicated to Nuclear Throne.
