How are you supposed to find the templar maps if the game does not show coordinates?

Makes it pointless showing them treasure map. Unless there is some way to activate them in the options I did not see.

Check your map, the coordinates are where ever you place a waypoint

Actually, you don't have to place a waypoint to see them. The coordinates show up on the map and adjust to wherever the reticle is. That way you can find the corrdinates from the templar map and then place the waypoint at the coords from the map to look in the area for the dig spot.
