Moving DLC files to change matchmaking pool
I want to be able to change my matchmaking pool for MP on a whim. Unfortunately, unchecking the DLC packs in the Library tab of Steam completely uninstalls the DLC instead of disabling them. Browsing through common/Call of Duty Black Ops III/zone, I notice these three files:

base_dlc1.xpak
base_dlc2.xpak
base_dlc3.xpak

So these are obviously the first three main DLCs. I don't see one for the fourth. Does anyone know which individual file(s) I need to move to disable DLC4?

Alternatively, I'm positive I saw someone who had a .bat file that handled this automatically.

Why do you need to change them? You won't find any matches on the DLC anyway since the only way to play them is on the DLC playlist which no one plays!

well its right folder, but thats not the dlc's files, besides xpak is a audio file extension, the dlc files have something with _patch, ff or fd at the end.

But why do u want to disable it anyway? its exactly the same as to uninstall in this case.

Wrong. The DLC maps are also in the normal map rotation (at least for TDM), but they only appear under the condition that ALL players in the lobby own the respective mappack. At least one player is missing it? Won't show up in the rotation.
That's the case for both Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 3, meaning the sole reason to not install the mappacks is either you never play on TDM, ever or just refuse to play TDM on those maps to begin with. If you want to play on them or don't care if the current lobby has them or not, you can keep them installed.

And given how small the DLC maps are in terms of filesize, not installing them won't really make that much of a difference as the lionsshare of a DLC packs size is the Zombie map.
The issue is that the DLC you have installed determines your matchmaking pool. In the case of BO3, there are only two pools: you either have the season pass installed, or you don't. If you have it installed, you will ONLY be matchmade with people who also have the pass installed. Naturally, the number of individuals who have the season pass AND play multiplayer are smaller than those who don't have the season pass installed. Thus, I wish to not be in the season pass pool.

If I just played multiplayer I would simply uninstall the DLC. But I'm more of a zombies player anyways, and thus, don't want to redownload 30GB of data everytime I want to play the DLC zombie maps.

No, that's wrong, for PC. As I explained above, the OPPOSITE is the case: Everyone gets thrown in together, but only the maps that are available for everyone show up in the rotation.

Otherwise, people with the Season Pass would end up playing the DLC maps far more than they do.
