Official SFV Bug Reporting Thread
Hello Fighting Game Community!

We hope you’re all enjoying or will be enjoying Street Fighter V shortly! While we hope all of our fans will have a great time with the game, there will always be some cases here and there where the game may not function correctly under certain environments and / or hardware combinations. That said, we’ve set up this feedback thread for you all to share any technical issues you may be having with the game. We’ll use this thread as a central repository for tracking these problems, and pass on the information gathered here to the development team so they can investigate and work on a fix.

Before providing reporting further, please ensure you've followed the steps below to rule out problems with Steam or the game’s files:

Check your Anti-Virus software
Some AV software may trigger a false-positive situation and flag certain executables from running. Yu can temporarily disable the AV software to see if the game behaves differently. If the game runs when AV is turned off, that means you'll need to create an exception rule to Street Fighter V.

Ensure game files are intact using Verify Game Cache

1) From your Steam Library list, right-click on Street Fighter V and select Properties.
2) Click the LOCAL FILES tab.
3) Click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache..." and allow the validation process to run its course. Please disable or shutdown your anti-virus while this process runs.

This process allows the Steam client to scan every single file you downloaded for this game, verify checksum of each, and compare that against the file manifest data on Steam's content server. If the file is missing or has a different checksum value, you will receive a message stating "X files failed to validate and will be reacquired." What this means is that some files have either been deleted, or may have been corrupted. Click “Close,” and Steam will automatically download and / or replace the problem files.

Reinstalling your video card drivers
We also recommend making sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card. Some high end integrated graphics chips and modern laptop class discrete GPUs may work but have not been tested, nor are they officially supported by Capcom

Nvidia GeForce Drivers[www.nvidia.com]
AMD Radeon Drivers[support.amd.com]

If you still experience crash issues, you may want to try performing a clean installation of the driver set. This will remove any extraneous driver DLL files or game profiles that existed with the previous driver installation.

Important! Lastly, please don't forget to reboot Windows upon completing the driver installation. This will help reinitialize the driver and the graphics card using the new driver.

Reporting crashes
If you still experience poor framerate, “slow motion” effects, crashes, or other issues, please help the dev team by providing detailed information below.

The more samples and data points we receive, the better we are able to narrow down and determine the root cause of these problems. Here’s what we need:

A) Your System Specs
1) CPU name & model
2) Name / model of the desktop or laptop (if available)
3) Graphics card / chip model and the amount of VRAM
4) Video driver version number
5) System memory size
6) OS version (Windows 7, 8, 64-bit/32-bit, etc.)
7) Anti-virus software name and version

Please make special note in your specs if you are running Windows "N" and "K" editions that does not come with Windows Media Player.

A good deal of this information, such as the graphics card model and VRAM, are available by running a DxDiag report. For more information on how to run this report, click here[www.fuzeqna.com].

Specific issue
Please share your specific issue and the location(s) where you’re experiencing the issues – for example, if you’re having problems with the framerate, is it happening constantly, or is it during certain cutscenes, during gameplay, etc.

If the game is crashing, it would be super useful if you can share your app crash log file via downloadable link using any one of the popular file hosting services such as DropBox, GoogleDrive, OneDrive, etc.

C) Detailed reproduction steps, if consistently reproducible
This step particularly is very useful for the development team. The more detailed info you can provide, the quicker the team can reproduce the error state and (hopefully) fix the issue.

Hi, im another experiencing the slow-mo problem, Game runs perfectly for first 1-2mins after which it gradually slows down to an uplayable level. I have checked temperatures of cpu and graphics card and they are fine, I have the latest drivers installed. Iv only tried it plugged in to mains (not battery) iv made sure power settings are on high performance not balanced or power saver.... wow im stressed.

Im running it on an alienware 15 laptop

CPU: i7 4710HQ @ 2.5Ghz
Alienware 15
GTX 970m 3GB
driver: 361.91
16GB RAM
Win 10
norton antivirus

dont know if this is relevant, but on the same laptop i can run MKX ultra constant 60fps and batman arkham knight solid 45-50fps on high/ultra, no problems.

Game does not utllize the nvidia gpu. Tested on 4 laptops with various nvidia graphic cards.

Among them: 870m, 880m, 970m,980m
Processors were : i7 4710mq(on the first two), i7 4790k, i7 6700k
newest drivers, clean installation, 361.91
8 gb ddr3, 16gb ddr 3, 16gb ddr3, 24 gb ddr3
all on win 7 64bit professional with up to date patches
avira, mbam, norton, mcaffee
Reproduction: Just start the game on a gaming laptop with win 7
and a Nvidia graphic card that is not weak.

So it is not an isulated issue.
compatibility mode does not help either.
It starts with the nvidia gpu in vista compatibility mode, but drops the usage
soon resulting in 5-15fps on every ♥♥♥♥ing setting.
Gpu z shows that the gpu clearly doesn't get used.

Fix this goddamn issue, or else you'll lose the entire laptop userbase.

I'm experiencing network issues. Noone can see my battle lounge, and i can't enter on other's lounge (says it is full). But i get ranked and casual matches normally. Seems like i'm invisible in battle lounge, nothing works there for me.

Sometimes i get disconnected from server (every 10 minutes ~ )

My internet is fine, no connection problems in others game, including USF4.
It's not firewall permitions issue neither AV software (Avira)

My fighter ID is "Vandall" and today i was able to play on lounge but only against PS4 players.

Some have said that by going into your Appdata and deleting the SFV folder can correct the UE4 GAME GAME HAS CRASHED FATAL ERROR/UNKNOWN FUNCTION issue.

When I try to run it from Steam, the game doesn't even start (literally nothing happens). When I open directly the .exe from the game folder I get a black screen and the Steam store page opens (wtf?) .

Tried everything: disabled my AV, verified the game cache, ran it as administrator / with different compatibility modes...

I'm running Win 10 x64 and have an AMD R290X GPU with the latest drivers, 2560x1440p@120Hz.

HELP!

Waiting for a quick patch, if it isn't pushed in the next days I'll just refund the game and wait for a working version.

So, I've noticed that in training mode I can play the game on max and a steady 60fps.
However, once a menu comes up, or the character select screen, or a character intro occurs ... the game has a good chance of just locking at 30fps.

I've noticed this occurs more commonly when playing online. When the VS screen pops up, or even the A FIGHTER IS COMING or whatever screen, the frames just lock at 30.
The weird thing... if I alt tab and re-tab, it fixes it. What the ♥♥♥♥ is going on with this game? This isn't even including the weird online teleporting that seems to happen constantly.

This is on a computer with a GTX 780 Ti, Intel i7-4820k, 16GB ram computer w/ Windows 10.

I just don't get it... it runs perfectly as long as a menu/character select screen doesn't come up... and if it does, boom, randomly will just lock at 30 fps. It's not even like I drop frames, it is locked at 30.

Drivers were just updated, so I have no idea what's going on, but it seems like some others are having similar issues and I still can't find a fix.

Matchmaking doesn't seem to work.
Battle Lounge lobby - I can connect to people on the other side of the world, both sides! (Japan, Korea, USA, Brazil, etc etc.) But I can NOT connect to any of my friends who live in the neighbouring towns/cities! (I live in Sweden)

I also get framedrops in the menu, opening cutscenes, and sometimes the critical art scenes.
99% of the time the framerate smooths out at the beginning of the match.

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition - 3.4GHz Quad-core
GPU: GeForce GTX 750 Ti Asus PH 2GB Edition
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1600MHz
MB : MSI GF615M-P33
OS: Win 10 64bit
DX: DX12

And I doubt that much anti-virus is doing this because it doesn't even react on the game.

Disconnects from the server are rather frequent right now. Had three in the last hour and it's driving me up the wall.

I was not able to set my name at the very start,it said it has been used every time when I apply a new one,then I quit and restart the game. My name has been set as the same as my steam ID in game. I have search in game for the name that I want to use and most of them are not in using. Please at least give me back the chance to set my name.

today i play 4-5 hours but game didnt't find anyone to play in ranked matches
