Because season passes and DLC drop in price over time, but the in-game currency (fightmoney) value is not.

It would be still nice to be able to get a FM refund for the newest season characters, if you decide get the season passes within that first year time frame. This the main flaw right now and holding players back from "wasting" FM now, if there will be a character season pass 4 (2019), which includes KAGE (Evil Ryu).

So lets say i farm 600k fm once and buy all characters of the current season at their release. Guy x does the same by buying the season pass for 30€. Both of the play the characters at release but i will buy the discounted season pass at the start of the next season for 20€. So i got the same content at the same time as guy x but for less money. Doesn't sound fair expecially because i could do the same with the next season again.

Basicly what these guys say.
If they did do this id be buyng the season pass 1 by now and wuld get like 600000 FM.

You culd efecticly buy season pass one for 5$ if you had the game for a long time and use the FM refunded from Season 1 characters to get the 20$ season pass 3 for free.

At the wearly least i hope they give Kage users a FM refund or lower the price of the season pass by 5$/euros for enyone who got him early if they do anounce a season pass 4 and he is part of it.

But considering they did relese him early chances are he is not itnended to be part of any season pass. Kinda how Eliza whas not part of tekken 7 season pass 1.

They should have some form of compensation for costume bundles if you already own one of the costumes. Maybe they could give you a random costume for each one you already owned. Maybe they could do that for the season passes as well. Instead of giving you FM, they give you a random costume for each character you own.

I was also wondering this. Not the "get FM back" part, but if the price of the stuff you bought individually gets discounted if you buy the bundle later. I guess it doesn't.

or have him count as a 'bonus' and isnt a true part of the character pass.

There are no single costume purchases available in the steam store, so the bundles can't discount anything if the bundle doesn't know you have part of it already. I don't care much becausei don't buy single costumes and wait for cheap bundles at sales.

It's possible to buy single costumes throught the game itself thought. But what if I buy Abigail and then get season 2, will it be cheaper?

Why can i still play dlc characters while servers are down for maintenance?
Did something like that happen in the past to another game?

Short-term would not be affected, but say you had to redownload the game for whatever reason.
