Fightstick registering double input

So I have a madcatz TE stick, just the other day in SFV i started getting double inputs only for left on the joystick. I've been playing MvCi since launch and haven't had an issue in that game nor anything before that. I can't really get it to replicate in training mode now, it seems to only happen in a real match. Has anyone else had this problem or knows a fix? It shouldn't be a hardware issue as I've got a 1080-i5-16gb ram. I've had this stick for a few years and never had any issues.

I've had this a few times. Had to delete the device from windows control panel, unplug stick, reboot windows, reconnect it and set the stick up again.

Thank you I will give this a try after work today! Hopefully it fixes it!

If its not aleady, make sure the slider toggle next to the home button is in "DP" mode.
