It turned out the old Dirt profiles work to a certain degree, so it it's already implemented.
Can't get the reset key to work which i essential, and the freedom of movement is somewhat restricted.
Yup, if you had used the search feature in the forums you would have know that already ;)
If you are entering sharp turn, it's quite good to have the option to look into it. And once you got used to it, you need it in any other racing game. Not to mention driving doors first... :)
I own trackIR, I don't find it super duper useful outside of iRacing and Arma, I like it in iRacing so I can watch people near me, however I don't use it to look into corners. It feels wrong, I don't like the idea of moving my head to look right or left, when in a real car I move my eyes alone in that situation unless I'm looking out the left or right window.
If you race with a wheel and use a tight fov, sit close to the screen, then TrackIR is the next best after triple srceen or ORift setups ( and cheaper ), looking to apex seems quite natural, in fact look to apex option is the next one down as a useful feature.
Owned a triple screen setup in the past, and now have trackIR and I sit at my desk, still don't like it, and find it really useless in a racing game that I don't have people right next to me in.
TrackIR works fine with this game.
I use it here.
Works in dash cam mode or bonnet cam. Dunno bout other modes as never drive
in other than dash or bonnet cam mode.
So no need to beg for support, it is there already.
As far as usefulness goes. .. For this game not so much, it is nice though and I enable
my TrackIR for sessions.
I find TrackIR far more useful for me in EuroTruck Simulator 2.
Which is the game I bought TrackIR5 for here. Was well worth it to me.
Anything else I find it useful for is just icing.
