SoC is terrible though. No matter how low my opinion on current H:OE's art, it will never be worse than pixelated junk that is SoC.
pixelated games are beautiful , and full of heart.Songs of conquest is so beautiful , and I love it.It looks much more mature , then Olden Era mobile version
This was a joke ?
And I'm not just talking about ugly aesthetics, pixelated games cause extra eyestrain as you're desperately trying to understand wtf that heavily distorted ♥♥♥♥ on the screen of your monitor is.
And it was one thing when pixelated games were a result of technological insufficiency back in nineteen-whatevers, but making such games now is like deliberately adding dirt to clean drinking water.
The problem for your eyes are not pixels , but bright pixels , and bright colors , and also to many hrs on the computer.Pixel art is beautiful , you just have to get used to it.I never had any problem with my eyes , playing pixel art games.I always had problem with games that are to saturated , with to much bloom , and blur , and lights.
This fits the game way more the full 3d like HOMM 6 and 7.
Like half of H:OE models are copy-paste from H6/H7.
And then they managed to make other factions look even worse than h6/h7. Similar style, but even more ridiculous.
