Hotfix for Spanish and American English version
Hello all. Unfortunately some minor glitches slipped through the last released patch (1.6.0). We'll be releasing an official update soon but, in the meantime, if you're playing the game in either Spanish or American English, please download the following small package: https://www.dropbox.com/s/llduv52xxxm1td9/Scripts.rar?dl=0 and unpack it on top of your installation, overwriting the existing files (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Buzz Aldrin's Space Program Manager\SPM-Windows_Data).

The package only contains text files, there are no executables there.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

My game still goes black when trying to schedule the X-15 test flight through the tutorial. I've applied this patch as instructed twice. I'm trying to play it with 1768 x 992 in unwindowed mode on a second monitor. I'll experiment with other settings.

Edit: I was able to get through the bug using 1024 x 768. The above patch appears to not be working or perhaps I'm using the wrong one.

Try verifying your game cache. 1.6.5, which should be the version you're running if you have Steam automatically update the game, should already contain those fixes.

It is set for automatic updates. This appears to be the same bug as the 16:10 resolution discussed here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/308270/discussions/0/613940477834265181/

I edited my first comment to show that the game does work in 4:3 resolution.

Hello sfbmod. Can you send me the output_log.txt file generated by the game after reproducing the problem? The file is located inside the SPM_Windows-Data folder in the installation directory.

Also, if you can enumerate all the available resolutions in the game's configuration dialog (or post a screenshot), that would help me enormously.

It's ok as long as I choose a 4:3 format. Black edges on the sides of course, but it's playable.

I'm using a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti gfx card on a monitor that supports up to 1920x1080 if that helps. Which the Unity pre-loader does give me those range of options.

The game is playable in 4:3, but it looks so much better in widescreen resolutions, so we need to get this sorted :)

SPM supports the following aspect ratios: 4:3, 5:4, 16:9 and 16:10. I'm not sure why Unity is displaying 1768 x 992 as a valid option, since it doesn't fall under any of those categories. Have you tried running the game at 1920x1080? That's the resolution I use when playing the game.

BTW, cool picture from your Steam avatar! That game AI book is one of my favourites!
