I received the message obout the cache upating today before a multiplayer game...


Maybe it is just me holding out hope to see more in the game...all of those assets not used that you show on your Polar Motion blog make me feel so depressed :(

Hello jjknap, I'm not sure why the cache was updated today. We haven't pushed any updates from our end. During the last weekend I worked on a fix for an issue reported by Causus (http://steamcommunity.com/app/308270/discussions/6/1697167355219736366/). The plan is to roll an official update in the near future featuring the minor fixes listed here: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3466740

Thats all planned bugfixes? You know, Soviet side of space race still have plenty of them - for example Soyuz rocket launch sequence is silent (no mission control voice), same with PKA when launching using Vostok rocket. Some unmanned missions at least in Soyuz earth orbit tests are counted as manned - despite no kosmonaut on board, in misson video sequence there are dialogue with ground control, and if you fail them prestige deducted as if it was manned, and you get message that "everyone on board died".

In general soviet campaign a lot worser developed than american - more still present bugs, some program order oddites (for example because there is no Venera 1-6, to launch Venera 7 lander (IRL launched in 1970) you first need to sent Venera 15 orbiter (actually launched in 1983) ), more important mission lacking (aforemented early Venera probes; early, Molnya-launched, Mars probes; Sputnik-3 etc), lunar mission orbital tests in terms of milestones are also worser developed than american, which have clearer mission order.

Hello starchaser, I wasn't aware of these issues you're mentioning. We'll investigate them and address them so that we can add them to the patch. If we have any issues trying to reproduce any of them I'll get back to you.

No problem, happy to help if there is actually patch coming. I encountererd some more similar errors on soviet side, I can replay game on this weekend and write full list.

You know, your game quicky become one of my favorites, like old BARIS, too bad we will never get continuation in this age of casual games.

Sorry, I hadn't noticed it, thanks for the heads up! My steam client was logged out. I just logged in and retrieved the contents of the chat before they get deleted :) I'll get back to you towards the end of the weekend.
