Anyone Using Voice Attack?
I normally play Elite: Dangerous but am a big fan of WWII combat flight sims and have supported IL-2 since inception. Is anyone currently using a voice command system like Voice Attack to play BOS?

Well i have Voice attack but i dont use it for BoS/M i made a custom "button/switch box" to control everything i need!

perhaps when they implement the revamped RoF style campaign system ill be using it to give commands to my wingmen as i do with my troops in Warband or with the shields in Starcitizen

Yeah, I guess it makes sense to keep it as real as possible. I like the wingman commands idea though. That'd be more realistic.

I use VAC. I set up commands like "gear", or "raise/lower flaps" to save joystick buttons for other functions. Since I don't have an intuitive cockpit like an actual pilot, I find this helps to make up for it. This way I don't have to take my eyes off the screen and fumble around my keyboard. Until I get a warthog or something similar where I can get everything I need binded to my HOTAS, I find that this is the best solution.

I use VAC as well. I use it mainly for wingman commands or for less used controls I don't want to assign a button on my joystick. Some examples are "navigation lights" or "landing lights", "cockpit lights", "tail wheel lock", and jumping between gunners and pilots or "gunners fire at will" and a few others. So even though I have a full CH Products HOTAS, VAC is quite usefull for games with lots of controls and not enough buttons.
