Can't get past splash screen
hello guys, please I really need help here, I have read everything out here regarding the bugs but not seen many having similar issues as mine.

I am not able to get past the splash screen "Mortal Kombat X", I have already checked integrity of game cache and waited forever for the game to do its thing but it won't load...

can you guys suggest anything?

I have updated nvidia drivers already to the latest, i have never faced anything like this with a new release game, all other games work perfectly fine for me

Just a long shot but it may be happen from your monitor/tv are at 30hz. Try changing it to 60hz and see what happens. Hvs did make this port so you never know. You can even just unplug one of them.

I still can't get passed it, and don't have a HDMI TV I can run it off.

tried changing refresh rates from 60 to 30 and 30 to 60, reinstalled vcredist again from the install folders and also directx, none of it works, still cannot play, stuck on splash logo

just found the solution to my perennial problem, when I remove HDMI connected to my TV from my PC, the game launches just fine, in my case I guess its the opposite, it doesn't work when connected to a TV, it works just fine when the HDMI connection is unplugged
