QLOC taking over PC version of MKX
High Voltage Studios fired by WB Games and Netherrealm Studios

QLOC made these PC ports - Street Fighter 4 (All Versions), DmC (Devil May Cry)

So by next update we should see a huge change in performance and upto par with Console versions.

aren't you bored of policing forums? people are happy they want to share the news for happiness instead of advertising their friend's guides on forums.

hopefuly it gets fixed and i grab the game i also hope they fix Arcade Kollection and move it to steam from GFWL

Rejoice and sing but there are too many posts about this already and there has been for days (since it was just speculation). I do not think we need half the main page filled with the same information. ;)

PC version should have been developed along side the PS4 and Xbone versions.

If there is a mod, he is supposed to be doing this... thats his damn job. If I was a moderator, this duplicate posting would be cleaned up.

Coming to the topic, yes... I am as excited as everyone else that Q-LOC has decided to pitch in but having all the comments in one place for this topic is better than having a 100 threads out there on the same thing.. doesn't really serve any purpose if you ask me

Yeah QLOC has better experience in porting fighting games, USF4 works perfectly on my system, yet MKX runs like crap. So looking forward to experience what QLOC does with MKX.

Isn't it too late to fix this game that runs like crap ?
Things like MKX beind processor demanding like crazy instead of using the graphic card as it should be ?

Q-Loc sounds familiar... and not in a good way... they ported something recently that was pretty much mirroring HVS's handling of MKX.

That can be alleviated. Probably not by Tuesday, but QLOC may have quite a mess to sift through to find out just where things went wrong. I kinda hope they release a lengthy statement as to what HVS did wrong and how it was corrected, it'd be interesting to read.

ITS TO LATE IMO, THEY SHOULD MAKE A PC RELAUNCH AFTER THIS LOL *CAPS*

I doubt they will, WB or NRS, whoever fired HVS for QLOC does not really want people to know how much they messed up with this PC port.
They'll probaly only say : after months of hard work, MKX is finally stable on PC, hurray !

I don't remember hearing anything that Qloc did recently that would be considered on the level of HVS's long history of terrible porting. The only thing close to what you can claim is a mishap on their part was the online for SFXT (which is a medicore fighting game anyway), and the online for USF4 on launch (which wasn't their fault. It was steams and was fixed within a year, USF4 on pc is widely considered the best version of that game).

My memory may be fuzzy... it was either Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R (not bad at all actually) or WWE 2K15 (stutter issues after the DLC update that still persist now and a divided success/failure across similar hardware like MKX since launch)

Edit: After searching, it was WWE 2K15... ohhh dear.

GGXXAC +r Wasn't a terrible port. Tbh i wouldn't have played it regardless since Xrd is out on consoles and the games live cycle on pc is pretty much gurenteed to die anyways.
I never had an interest in playing wwe 2k15 but that is pretty bad. Is it fixed? Either way, one mishap in a game that is not a normal fighting game to work on is not as bad as say... 4 games that HVS has ♥♥♥♥ed up in some way.
