Did you make a typo; or is my process really the reverse?
I also think that achievements and game time tracking won't work anymore, at least I'm pretty sure that this was the case with The Cat Lady (AGS engine too).
And I think that Bred To Main also meant the full version, because he seems to be a tester or press (otherwise I wouldn't know how he can have the game already in his Steam library).
Good luck with the achievements! I look forward to seeing how people do, since most of them are based around the multiple solutions for puzzles.

Speaking of achievements, I've been having a pile of fun with those. I did find one circumstance where you could get more than one of them in a given playthrough for the same puzzle-- it was the ones with the Trance Den entry.
Regardless of which approach you use first, you can still solve that puzzle two ways minimum, and get both achieves. If you shut down the lights after restoring the water, then you can get all three.
The screen-stuttering thing I mentioned in the thread I posted earlier happened with DirectDraw on, and right at points where the autosave kicked in. I went back and checked a few places where it happened-- nearly always with the change in rooms. I remember a case in which it happened while I was sitting around not quite getting a puzzle, but I haven't been able to replicate it.
I'll pass this on to the Mothership and see if they've got an opinion on this - might be something to do with the latest AGS version we're using. What resolution/scaling are you using?
